How do I deposit money into my account?
Cheque deposits to your Betting Account can be forwarded through the mail or made at any ACTTAB agency and can be taken in various forms ie. cash, bank cheques, personal cheques, money orders. All cheque deposits are subject to a five day clearance period. Cash Deposits can also be made through the Commonwealth Bank (contact Customer Service (02) 6245 6201 for further information), and BPAY® (see below).

How do I withdraw money from my account?
Cash and cheque withdrawals may be made at any ACTTAB agency, all you need is your ACTTAB Customer Identification Card.
Alternatively, withdrawals can be requested through an operator or by contacting ACTTAB Customer Service on (02) 6245 6201. A cheque will be posted to the ACTTAB Betting Account holder at the address shown on the account application form.
If you have a Commonwealth Bank account, withdrawals may be directly deposited into your account (contact Customer Service (02) 6245 6201)
NB. You must produce your ACTTAB Customer Identification Card for any transactions at an ACTTAB outlet.
What is the minimum amount I can bet?
The ACTTAB unit of betting is $1.00 although you can place minimum bets for a half unit or 50 cents for all ACTTAB racing products.
How often are the racing odds updated?
Racing Odds are generally displayed approximately 8 hours prior to the advertised race start time. Odds are then updated more regularly as the advertised race start time gets closer. In the last 3.5 minutes before the race start time Odds are updated at least every 45 seconds.
Is it real time?
Yes, all wagering transactions happen in real time.
Is 'totalisator' (parimutuel) race betting available?
Yes, all major Australian races and selected races from overseas are available.
What bet types are available?
Win/Place, Trifecta, Quinella, All-up and Parlay, Quaddie, Doubles, Exacta & Mystery bets are available.
What time can I use my account?
Your ACTTAB Betting Account can be used from from 8.15am until approximately 11.00pm on Monday to Saturday, and from 9.15am until approximately 9.00pm on Sunday.
Can I cancel a bet over the Internet?
No. Once a bet has been confirmed and submitted over the Internet, it cannot be cancelled. You are given the opportunity to check bet details on the Betting Confirmation slip prior to submitting the bet.
How soon do the dividends get paid?
As soon as the confirmed outcome of the event is known your dividends will be credited to your betting account.
